Just 30 percent of Australians have faith in the courts and justice system, it was recently reported. (*Resolve Political Monitor survey published by the The Age and SMH on 30 July 2024).

Now that is a sobering statistic but one that I can understand in the context of family law. Whilst court certainly has its place in family law, it is a lengthy, expensive and emotionally gruelling pathway – with an uncertain outcome!

I believe that it is only needed by a small subset of separating families who truly require a third-party judge to make decisions on their behalf.

It’s a myth that if your marriage or de facto relationship breaks down, court is the best or only option.

Take control of your family and your children’s future and try collaborative family law where we resolve parenting property and related family law issues outside of court – you will not be required to go to court – guaranteed.

It’s a calmer, smarter, faster and more affordable way to separate that also addresses the human aspects of separation and divorce, not just the legal ones. Contact us today to find out more.
